About Us

In Malaysia, CodeRant is the only community of tech professionals from Bangladesh. The invite-only WhatsApp group was formed in 2017, and has now grown to a 200+ members community!
Our goal is to foster growth among Bangladeshi tech professionals, through community-driven initiatives, meetups, and career-centric programs. Our community has people from renowned companies like Amazon, AirAsia, Petronas, Chubb, Moneylion, etc., and consists of members with diversified technical, leadership, and entrepreneurial backgrounds.
We are committed to contributing to the Malaysian tech landscape as a group of experts and paving the way for future techies from Bangladesh, to come and grow in this magnificent land of opportunities.

    1. Release letter from hospital
    2. JPN form provided by hospital, properly filled up
    3. Passport + visa (original + copies)
    4. Dr. appointment card of the mother (original + copy)

    Note - If you want binte/bin for baby name, go directly to Putrajaya JPN. Other JPNs will reject.
    Once you get the Birth Certificate from JPN, Copy it 3 and get them attested from the same JPN. You also need to get Birth Certificate attested from Foreign Ministry of Malaysia, Putrajaya, RM20 for each copy.
  • For the babies born in Malaysia, you can’t generate the birth certificate from Bangladesh anymore!
    You need to do it via the Bangladesh Embassy in KL. But the process is not started yet. Maybe need 1/2 more weeks. And they’re not familiar with the application process. So, if you want to do that - prepare yourself for at least 4 hours to complete the process (if you want to get it in a day).
    Docs needed:
    1. Marriage certificate
    2. Father’s and Mother’s passport
    3. Father’s and Mother’s Birth Certificate, both have to be online.
    4. Father’s and Mother’s visa copy
    5. Filled the form: https://bdris.gov.bd/br/application try to print it, if can’t get the application ID screenshot and print it.
    6. JPN birth cert of the baby attested from Foreign Ministry of Malaysia, Putrajaya
    7. 5rm in yellow payslip
    8. You can submit the application from 10am to 1pm and collect it from 4pm to 5pm on the same day.

  • If you are doing for your parents-

    Your birth certificate => attested from Ministry of Law, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then from High Commission of Malaysia in Bangladesh.

  • If you haven't received a tax refund, follow the steps below:
    • First, go to this link: https://mytax.hasil.gov.my/.
    • Perform self-identification and log in.
    • Check your inbox to see if you have any attachments.
    • If your issue persists, you can engage in a live chat with the LHDN (Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia).
    • If your passport number is different from the one registered with LHDN, you can chat with LHDN to update your new passport number.
    • The passport number provided in your EA-2021 will be followed by LHDN for tax refund purposes. Your bank account should also have the same passport number.
